Hi Barry,
Can Arches Tinnitus Formula be of help to those suffering from tinnitus which my doctor comments that its due to aging?
Thanks,
Evelyn L.
Dear Evelyn,
Yes, this is exactly the cause Arches Tinnitus Formula can help with. Hearing loss is the #1 cause of tinnitus and as we age, we gradually lose hearing. This is called presbycusis and is common among older people. This loss of hearing is what is causing your tinnitus.
Arches Tinnitus Formula has been shown in numerous clinical trials to reduce tinnitus loudness for most people who use it. It is especially helpful for those who have tinnitus due to hearing loss and/or noise exposure. It can also be helpful for those who have tinnitus due to toxic medications. One prominent Manhattan ENT says he has a 75-80% success rate with these patients using Arches Tinnitus Formula.
It takes three months to get the full benefit so we recommend Arches Tinnitus Starter Kit, a full three-month supply of four bottles. You can purchase each bottle separately but the Starter Kit offers a significant price discount and you don’t have to worry about running out during the critical three-month period.
Wishing you quiet times,

Hello Barry,
I have a friend who has a severe case of mal de debarquement syndrome (MDDS) for several years. Would your tinnitus formula help this condition?
Sincerely,
Sonya M.
Dear Sonya,
Mal de Debarquement Syndrome (MDDS) is French for “sickness of disembarkment”. The person constantly feels like they are swaying or rocking, even though they aren’t. It is sometimes referred to as “landsickness.”
This is similar to getting “sea legs” during a boat trip. The body adjusts to the constant movement of a boat and afterward, for a short time, feels the continued movement. This goes away after a few hours or a few days but for those with MDDS, it never stops.
There is no clear medical treatment for this condition. Motion sickness medicine doesn’t work for this. Benzodiazepine medications, such as Valium, can be helpful but are very addicting.
Andrew Weil, MD is a well-known medical doctor who specializes in herbal and vitamin remedies. Dr. Weil recommends Ginkgo biloba for these patients taken for two months. He also recommends cranial osteopathy and possibly acupuncture.
Arches Tinnitus Formula contains our proprietary and highly concentrated ginkgo extract Ginkgo Max 26/7. It should be helpful for this condition.

Hi Barry,
Can you refer me to a specialist qualified to treat my somatic tinnitus in the Columbus Ohio area? I have been brushed off and handed pamphlets too many times over many years.
Thank you,
Susan F.
Dear Susan,
Somatic tinnitus can be caused by several different systems in the body and different doctors are involved depending on the cause.
Somatic tinnitus is characterized by; 1 – Intermittency, 2 – Large fluctuations in loudness, 3 – Variability of location, 4 – Daily pattern, 5 – No hearing loss but head, neck, or dental insult.
A large percentage of somatic tinnitus is due to TMJ dysfunction, where the jaw is out of alignment with the skull. A dentist familiar with this is the proper specialist to consult. Many times a simple bite guard will help to re-align the jaw and reduce symptoms.
Another common cause is spasm of the sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM). This is the large muscle in the neck and under the ear that turns the head. A physical therapist can determine if this muscle is in spasm and offer help to calm it.
Biofeedback can be helpful for muscle spasm as well as the use of a TENS (transcranial electrical nerve stimulation) unit. Sometimes prescription anti-anxiety medications can help this but they should be used with caution and not for an extended period of time.
