I've been living with tinnitus for almost 20 years now after being exposed to the noise of repeated gunfire. Words can not express how my hearing loss and the ringing in my ears has effected my life. I am encouraged by the recent attention by our government to finding a cure to help the veterans returning from serving our country. To me, I wouldn't have any reservations about being a test subject for new treatments. Often times I wonder if I would be better off being completely deaf, at least I wouldn't have to listen to the constant ringing all the time. Drugs... I'll take them. Stem Cell cure, if I'm in debt for the rest of my life... sign me up. Please, someone do something.

Test dummy available right now ! Where do I sign up? At 58 yrs of age, my ears have been ringing since grade school. I don't care if your test drugs make me deaf, dumb or blind. I'm ready for anything. This is an area of research that needs more attention as it's applicable audience grows in size and age. WILL SOMEBODY FINALLY DO SOMETHING????
